Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at Amrita Vidyalayam. Students of Std X sang a patriotic song in their melodious voice, which awakened everyone’s feelings of allegiance towards the Mother Land. The Chief Guest, Retd. Brig. Shankar Prasad Menon’s speech after the flag hoisting ceremony and national anthem, emanated the true meaning of patriotism. The program concluded with vote of thanks.
