The guru disciple tradition is a unique feature of our nation and culture. Our school, Amrita Vidyalaya, is indeed blessed to have Guru Poornima celebrations every year. It is celebrated to express gratitude towards teachers. Also, it helps in restoring values that are declining and disappearing from today’s society. Our students, inspired by our Mother and Satguru, Amma, offered their salutations to all their teachers by singing beautiful bhajans which were presented through a PowerPoint presentation, making it a grand success this year in spite of the pandemic situation caused by the COVID-19 virus.
With the motivational message of our Principal ma’am, many of our students performed Samskriti pooja to their parents, which helped them to value this great Indian tradition.
